設(shè)計以“花映前海、落英繽紛”為主題，通過增強、補充紫荊園的文化、藝術(shù)、科普展示功能，協(xié)調(diào)融合籌建中的前海國際會議中心廣場、桂灣河水廊道公園，強化深港合作的文化背景，作為推動區(qū)域文化交流互動的平臺。紫荊園的改擴建將填補華南地區(qū)羊蹄甲屬專類公園的空白，并最終結(jié)合泛紫荊園區(qū)域和前海國際會議中心營造融合多功能休憩綠地的市政門戶公園。
The design takes the theme of "flowers in front of the sea and falling into the sea" as the theme. By enhancing and complementing the cultural, artistic and popular science exhibition functions of the Bauhinia garden, the design integrates the under-planned plaza of the Qianhai international convention centre and Guiwan river corridor park and strengthens the cultural background of Shenzhen-Hongkong cooperation as the platform to promote regional cultural exchanges and interactions. The reconstruction and expansion of the Bauhinia Garden will fill the blank of the special-class park of the Bauhinia in South China, and finally build the municipal portal park with the multi-function open-space green space in the area of the Bauhinia Garden and the centre of the Qianhai Conference.
